I’ve recently discovered and amazing group run from Facebook, Canberra Mums Exercise Group. This group run by enthusiastic mums, coordinates free and cheap exercise opportunities around town. Group walks, boot camps, aqua exercise, mostly with our babies. We all know that working out ‘together’ helps keep you motivated.
My sister (who is also on maternity leave and is a fitness machine) has been keeping me company (ie, not letting me quit) and motivating me to get going daily. She walks slowly at the back of the pack with me, telling me I can keep going when my legs are on fire (after her own early morning gym sesh or run).
Even getting the family to join me!
